PRIVACY POLICY FOR Timetrack Apps
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Data controller
The data controller is TIMETRACK SPA, the developer that publishes the Timetrack apps on the App Store and Google Play.
Address: Brown Norte 100, Of. 506, Ñuñoa, Santiago, Chile. Email: [email protected]. Phone: +56 9 6237 9642.
Scope
This policy applies to every mobile app that TIMETRACK SPA publishes under the Timetrack brand. Today it covers Timetrack Live, and it will also cover the apps we publish in the future.
If an app uses any data not listed here, we will add it to this policy before publishing that app and describe it under "Details by app".
Internal accounts for staff and collaborators have their own privacy policy, published at timetrack.cl/privacy.
No account or sign-up
Our apps don't ask you to create an account or log in. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number or payment details.
Race results
The apps show the public results of events timed by Timetrack: participant name, bib number, category, times, positions and checkpoint splits. Participants provide this data when they register for each event, and Timetrack publishes it on behalf of the organizer. The apps don't collect it from your phone.
If you appear in results and want your data corrected or hidden, email us at [email protected].
Data stored on your phone
Some features store information only on your phone, such as the athletes you follow in Timetrack Live. We don't link it to your identity. To delete it, remove the athletes from your list, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
Phone permissions
Camera and photos: used only when you choose or take a photo to create an image to share. The image is created on your phone and is not uploaded to our servers. You decide who to share it with from your phone's share menu.
Location: Timetrack Live does not access your location. If one of our apps needs it in the future, it will ask for permission and explain why before using it.
You can change these permissions at any time in your phone's settings.
Technical data
To show events and results, the apps connect to the servers of Timetrack and Copernico, the timing platform we use. Like any internet connection, these servers receive technical data such as your IP address, phone model and operating system, and the time of the request. We use it only to answer the request, keep the service running and protect it from abuse.
Service providers
Maps are shown with Google Maps, and Google handles the map's technical data under its Privacy Policy. The apps are distributed through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google), which apply their own policies to downloads.
Advertising and tracking
Our apps show no ads, use no analytics or cross-app or cross-website tracking tools, and don't sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Minors
Our apps are not directed at children and don't ask them for personal data. Results of underage participants are published by Timetrack under each event's registration terms. A parent or guardian can ask for them to be corrected or hidden by emailing [email protected].
Retention
Technical data is kept in server logs only as long as needed to operate and protect the service. Results are kept as the historical record of each event, unless you ask us to stop showing yours.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion and objection under Chilean Law 19.628 and any law that replaces it by emailing [email protected]. We will reply within the time limits set by law.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date on this page. If the change is significant, we will also announce it in the app or on its store page.
